It is a fact that wealthier males live longer than males
residing in poverty. Also, males on average consume more alcohol
and tobacco than females, thus taking away years from their life
span.
The gap between females living longer than males in recent years
is beginning to narrow.
Males are without a doubt losing the war on medical attention
above females in the United States. For example, there are seven
breast cancer drugs for each one prostate cancer drug. The US
government spends twice as much on funding for breast cancer
than prostate cancer. And of most interest, the US government
has an office dedicated to women’s health, however there is not
one for males.
